Where great inventions were made. charlemagnes crowning was around the 800 but the middle ages started around 476. Its not the wars between the french monarch and Germanic tribe because that happened after the middle ages. It’s most likely not the last one because like I said, during the middle ages there are no great accomplishment. Middle ages is most likely known for the bubonic plague though.
