There were several things done by southern whites to deny justice to the black population during the reconstruction. One thing that occurred was the laws passed to restrict black voting and land ownership. Another thing that happened was the Ku Klux Klan. They, the KKK,  would terrorize the blacks and murder many over the years.

As I know some southern whites deny justice to blacks during Reconstruction in that way:

1.       They passed laws restricting black voting and land ownership.

2.       They allowed groups such as the Ku Klux Klan to terrorize blacks. (Ku Klux Klan is a ultra-right organization in the United States, advocated ideas such as white supremacy, white Nazism. In the middle of the XX century. Ku Klux Klan is also opposed to communism. With this organization attributed the emergence of the concept Lynching.
