Well 1,875÷9=208.333
However if I were to do this in my head to find an estimated answer I look at the problem some more. 18÷9=2 therefore 1,800÷9+=200
Now I know you are not looking for an answer to the equation but an answer as to what place value. So because the answer is about 200 the place value is in the hundreds place.
