I thought for a while but I think number 14 is B. The chart shows one cell dividing into many other cells. Remember, mitosis is the division of body cells. The chart shows that the cells are skin/nervous system/muscle/etc. cells. These are body cells. So that’s why this process would be mitosis, the duplication of body cells, which create identical cells.
I’m pretty sure 15 is A, nutrients. Remember that placentas in mammals are used to connect a fetus to its mother, and provide a sort of channel for nutrients. That’s how fetuses receive food from their mothers, as they can’t eat on their own. Kangaroos do not have placentas. They do give live birth and produce milk. However, kangaroo babies are born prematurely, and actually have to CLIMB UP into their mother’s pouch (if they fall off then they are not fit enough for the environment and their mother leaves them but that’s a depressing story we shall not speak of). There they further develop into the baby joeys that you see, and climb out after they’re developed. To finish the sentence, kangaroos lack a placenta to provide their young with nutrients, so they must have an alternate way of doing this. Hope this helped at all.
