this phenomenon is called Hispanic paradox.
Hispanic paradox refers to epidemiological findings that show Hispanics that born in north America tend to be healthier compared to the Hispanics that born in South America. This often correlated with the quality of medical establishment in North America and the quality of its foods

This phenomenon is called the Hispanic paradox. Simply put, this means that those hispanic peoples or those of Latino decent tend to have outcomes in health that are paradoxical when compared to those non hispanic white counterparts. Often times, it is even seen that their health outcomes are better when compared to white non hispanic counterparts. This is a paradox because generally they are of lower income which is typically associated with worse health and less access to proper health care.
