There are many ways Nevada voters might express their disgust. In the actual case, what Nevada voters in fact did was to begin voting for "none of these candidates" in Supreme Court election campaigns involving the judges who had been involved in the 1984 campaign or who subsequently ran what voters perceived as nasty campaigns. "None of these candidates" received 18% of the vote in 1992, and 21% in 1996.
