First, there is only one way to become a christian, you need to be baptized. This is usually decided by your parents at a very young age, However older people can receive the sacrament of baptism as well, in their case most churches and priests will ask you to take lessons and will inquire about the reasons why you would want to become a christian and what it means to you.
