The question says “How many more students like baseball than tennis.” Meaning how many students prefer baseball over tennis. If you match up on the graph you can see 18 people don’t like baseball and prefer tennis and 24 people don‘t like tennis and prefer baseball. Then subtract 24 from 18 and you get 6. Also as another confirmation I took the test and got it right.
