The majority of lands were under the warlords, who were selfish and greedy, exploited the poor farmers in rural areas. The Communist Party appeared to be a different ideology and promised the people of China to give a better life. In return, China Communist Party gave what Chinese people wanted, farmland, dignity, and peace.
