PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 20 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do the graphs of y=1/x and y=5/(x+6) compare?

I need steps because I want to be able to do these type of problems.

The second equation gets shifted to the left 6 units and then stretched 5 units. Looks like this. You can see the second equation centered at (-6, 0) while the first one is centered at (0, 0). You correctly identified that it gets shifted to the left by 6, but it does not move either up or down at all. That's why the center for its graph has a "y" value of "0" while the "x" value is "-6".
If you want to see the actual graph you can go to Desmos and click on graphing calculator.
