What have we learned from fossil evidence about evolution?
A. It is an abrupt change.
B. The process is observable.
C. It takes place during one lifetime only.
D. The most complex traits are always selected.

I don't think its A because Abrupt means to be sudden or unexpected, you can predict what may evolve depending on the environment on the creature. Evolution is also a very slow change so I don't think it's B either. (does comparing bones from 10000000 years ago to modern day bones count as observing?)

GIVE EXPLANATION PLEASE

Answer:

C.

Explanation:

Fossils are important evidence for evolution because they show that life on earth was once different from life found on earth today. ... Paleontologists can determine the age of fossils using methods like radiometric dating and categorize them to determine the evolutionary relationships between organisms.
