The amylase enzyme does not work properly in the bacteria that are living in a deep-sea thermal vent because the temperature is too high as well as the pH of sea water is 7.8 which is slightly basic and we know that amylase enzyme work best in the temperature range of 32 to 37 degrees C and at the pH of 7.

The amylase enzyme does not work properly in the cactus that is living in the Sonoran desert in Arizona because of the high atmospheric temperature that is not fit for the function of amylase enzyme.

The amylase enzyme does not work properly in the sea star which is living on the sea floor below the ice of the Antarctic shell because of the low temperature of the environment.
