From the graph showing the effects of the enzyme on the reaction, it is safe to conclude that the enzyme affected the the activation energy of the reactants.
The reaction without the enzyme indicated by the red showed that the reactants had a higher activation energy when compared to the reaction with the enzyme indicated by the blue line.
