Well since it has grass and shrubby woods, it must usually have an adequate amount of rainfall to support this vegetation. If a drought occurs, then the vegetation will likely shrivel and die because it’s not getting enough water. Some other changes also include the migrating people in the 1960s. The rainy weather made them move northward, taking away the animals that feed on the grass. Since there weren’t as many animals to eat the grass, the vegetation probably grew a lot in the 60s since there weren’t as many herbivores.
