Many people often laugh at others but when the same thing happens to them they feel awful. When you treat others with respect and sympathy they will treat you the same back. An example is let’s say somebody got 89% on a test. You see it and humiliate the person in front of the whole class. You then receive your test and you think that you got 100% instead you got 60% the class then asks what you got on the test and you wouldn’t answer so somebody grabbed it and looked. You would feel embarrassed and humiliated. If you didn’t humiliate the other person nobody would have humiliated you.
Treating others how you would like to be treated goes far beyond simply being kind to people, or going out of your way to be available or helpful to those in need. You would want others to assist you or be pleasant even in an unfavorable circumstance. But there are many ways to create equality in your world that may go completely unnoticed by others. It's really just about adjusting your views and attitudes.
We also all talk about other people. You know there are some of those weird or odd people but assigning roles to those in our lives our way is unnecessary. Although sadly it occurs frequently.Everyone cannot be fit into the box we would like to crop them into. When you retell a story, make sure to tell the unabridged, objective version, where all the characters have depth and empathy. Do not speak rudely about someone just because you disapprove of him or think they are different or weird.
