Bod is taking his son to look at colleges the first they plan to see is 150 miles from their home in the first hour they drive a rate of 60mph if they want to reach their destination in 2 1/2 hours what Speed must they average for the remainder of their trip

They must continue driving at 60mph

If they drove for a hour at 60mph they went 60 miles

Subtract 60 miles from 150 and you get 90 miles left

If they drive at 60mph for the rest of the way they will drive 90 miles

That means they still have to drive at 60mph
