Are you asking how are biochemistry and metabolism related? If so metabolism is turn used when talking about creating or breaking chemicals. There are two types of metabolism, anabolic and catabolic. Catabolic is when chemicals are broken down typically into more simple or basic chemicals. Anabolic is when more simple chemicals into more larger or complex chemicals. Biochemistry is all about the chemicals our body is made out of and how our bodies use chemicals. Metabolism is a part of biochemistry.
