What is the area of the hexagon, A, B, C, or D?
(With short explanation please)

Divide the hexagon into 6 congruent triangles. The cut lines will start at the center and extend out to the vertices. See attached image to see what I mean. Each of the six triangles are the same, so we need to find the area of one triangle and then multiply that result by 6. Each triangle has a base of 5 cm and a height of 4.3 cm, so the area of a single triangle is A = base*height/2 = 5*4.3/2 = 10.75 square cm
Multiply this by 6 and we get 6*10.75 = 64.5 square cm which is the final answer (choice A)
