If I have a package deal of 799.99 and the original price of all products equal 1,629.05, how much money am I saving?

I don't think I explained it good enough. Here's it in detail:

There is a piano bundle with 5 items in it. The price is $799.99.

I found the prices of everything by itself.
(ex: the piano costs $1,299 by itself, the headphones cost $66.99 by itself and so on.)

When I added all of the prices together, I got $1,619.05, plus tax.

In a percentage, how much money have I saved? Or what is the discount?

100-((799.99/1629.05)*100) = 50.89%

Subtract the deal from the original price of all products:

[tex]1629.05 - 799.99 = 829.06[/tex]

You are saving a total of $829.06.

To find the percentage that you saved, divide the amount saved by the original price:

[tex]829.06 \div 1629.05 = 0.50892[/tex]

Multiply this decimal by 100 to convert into a percentage:

[tex]0.50892 \times 100 = 50.892[/tex]

The total savings is 50.89% off the original price.
