Ibn Battûta, was a traveler born in the territory of present-day Morocco around the year 1304. He stood out for the stories he wrote of his 29 years of travels through the Middle East and other places. However, his stories are also controversial among various scientists and historians.

After 29 years of his travels, Ibn Battuta began to write his stories. However, this has caused doubt in current historians because:
