Human activities can have impact on natural disaster like flooding. Flood is caused by human activities such as cutting of trees on large scale (deforestation), urban development and destruction of natural wetland. Urban development disturbs the natural system of waterways and causes water to flow into the streams when it rains heavily and raises the level of river. Depletion of soil due to the large scale of agriculture cause the inability of soil to protect against flooding.
