let the width be x
let the length be 4x
perimeter of a rectangle=2(l + b)
250=2(4x + x)
250=2*5x
250=10x
250/10=x
x=250/10
x=25
Width=25 feet
Length=4*25
Length=100 feet
The width is 25 feet and the length is 100 feet.
