Hello!
You have to first find the percentage of the tv's are defective
3/11 = 0.27
27% of the tvs are defective
the probability of one of the tv's working is 8/11
the probability of the second tv working is 7/10
You multiply these together
8/11 * 7/10 = 28/55
There is a 28 out of 55 chance both tvs work
There is a 3/11 probability that one of the tvs does not work
Hope this helps!

1) 11-3= 8 TV work
8/11 - probability 1st TV works
7/10 -probability 2nd TV works
8/11*7/10=28/55 that both TV work
2)3/11 first TV does not work
8/10 second TV works
3/11*8/10 = 12/55 that at least one does not work
8/11 - probability 1st TV works
7/10 -probability 2nd TV works
8/11*7/10=28/55 that both TV work
2)3/11 first TV does not work
8/10 second TV works
