A landscaping firm brought three trucks loaded with topsoil to a job site. Two trucks carried 7.57 cubic yards each, and one truck carried 5.11 cubic yards. When the job was finished, 3.54 cubic yards remained. Find the number of cubic yards used.

1.  Find the total vol. of the soil delivered to the job side
2.  Subtract 3.54 cubic yards, the remainder
      The result is the measure of soil used.

2(7.57 cu yd) + 5.11 cu yd - 3.54 cu yd    will give you your answer.
