Blood-borne pathogens are infectious microorganisms that pass when blood or body fluid of an infected person enters an uninfected person's body. With that being said, it carries through blood and bodily fluids.
WHAT VIRUSES/INFECTIONS ARE INCLUDED?
The following are considered a "blood-borne pathogen": Hepatitis B/C and HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV causes AIDS)).
HOW DO I AVOID THESE?
→Do not share needles with anyone (not even even needles for tattoos).
→When cleaning up blood, vomit, or any other body fluid, take extreme caution.
→Try to avoid direct contact with others if you have broken skin (cuts or scrapes).
