Respuesta :
The Peace of Pocahontas was the first peaceful period that began in 1614. Peace was struck when Pocahontas and John Rolfe were married. This marriage is often thought to be the first inter-racial marriage in the Virginia area. While it did bring peace for a few years, fighting would begin again in 1622. Pocanhontas and Gov. Dale had left for England years before.
Answer:
B
Explanation:
In 1614, John Rolfe married Chief Powhatan's daughter, Pocahontas. Rolfe, Powhatan, and Pocahontas all supported peace between the settlers and the Native Americans. Unfortunately, peace did not last. By 1622, Powhatan and Pocahontas had died. The new Powhatan leader, Opechancanough, did not believe in continuing talks with the settlers. In 1622, Opechancanough led an attack on the settlers, killing around 350 people. Because of this action, the period between 1622 and 1646 was a time of much conflict for the settlers and the Powhatan.
