One way to find the best deal of thank you notes is to find the cost of each card for each example (unit rate).  To do this divide the cost by the number of cards you are getting.

$4/10 = $0.40 per card

$6/12 = $0.50 per card

$6/8 = $0.75 per card

The best deal is package one at $0.40 per card.
