Think about what you like and don’t like about the methods of law-making in the US government. Are there some ways where this process can be improved? If you like the current law-making process, explain your reasoning as to why.

I like the current law making process in the United States of America. 
Law making is one of the power that the constitution gives to the congress. The process of law making has many stages starting form the introduction of the bill. The major thing I like about the whole process is the way each bill is examined and debated over at each stage. Each bill is put through rigorous exercise and at the end of the day only good bills are able to survive the ordeal.This rigorousity ensures that only good bills ever become laws in America.

My thoughts about the current law-making process are:

  • I believe that they are efficient and suitable

According to the legislature in the United States, we can see that there is a Congress which is in charge of the law making process of the country.

As a result of this, we can see that all three arms of government are involved in the law making process, but more prominently is the Executive and the Legislature.

There is a vetting process which happens and this acts as a check and balance so that no arm of the government can hold all the power.
