A gym is considering changing its operating hours at multiple locations in a city. The gym management wants to know what percent of its 4367 members would utilize the new hours of operation, so they plan to survey 500 members.

What is the best way to randomly choose these 500 members?

Let the gym management decide which members should be surveyed.

Choose the 500 members who have the highest attendance rates in the gym.

Pick a letter from the alphabet and the first 500 members whose first or last name begins with that letter will be in the survey.

Enter all members' names into a computer software program that will randomly pick the 500 members.

Your best answer choice would be D (the last one). That option reduces all possibility of opinionated feedback,.

Given that the gym has about 4367 members. Now gym is considering changing its operating hours at multiple locations in a city. To do that they want to survey only 500 members out of 4367 member. Now we have to decide which of the four given choices will be better for selection of 500 members.

All methods are good in their own perspective but we know that there are only few people who attend the gym regularly so those regular people will be more affected if they won't get their prefered slot in the gym.

Hence according to me 2nd choice "Choose the 500 members who have the highest attendance rates in the gym." will be better option.
