No two jars hold the same number of candies. What is the positive difference between the greatest number of candies that could be in the second jar from the left, and the least number of candies that could be in that jar?

⇒ The minimum number of candies in the second jar = 33 + 2 = 35 ( because no jar has equal number of candies and they are put in the decreasing order of candies)

But, the maximum number of candies in the second jar = 72 - 1 = 71
