Gene therapy
It is the process of genetically engineering human beings by replacing defective genes.
It has the advantage of curing several rare diseases.
The disadvantage of gene therapy is the problem of passing over such genes which have been introduced into the population. There is no agreement on the effect that such genes would have on the future of the race.
