Chinese communism pushed the idea that rural peasants were the force behind revolution.
Chinese communism had the idea that the rural peasants formed the most important part of the revolution. On the other side, the European communism, for example in the USSR, had the belief that the backbone of the revolution were the urban workers. In the early years of Chinese communism put less emphasis on industry than European communism. With the passing of time the ideas of the Chinese communism evolved and changed.
