Context
When you
have heard people arguing that they are being quoted accurately, but are being
quoted out of context it means that the quotation is being considered alone,
which leads to a misunderstanding of the message they were trying to
convey. Thus, what they are saying is
that not just the portion but all content and information surrounding what was
quoted should, too, be considered. This
is called context. Thus, for a writer to
consider the circumstances surrounding a writing project, the writer is considering
the context.
