diver can be modeled by the equation ℎ = −162t^2 − 16t+ 9, where t represents time in seconds. How
long will it be before the diver hits the water?

hit the water means h is zero.
-162t²-16t+9=0
use the quadratic formula to solve: I got the answer t=0.19 second or -0.29 second
ignore the negative answer, t=0.19
