A summary is a central statement of ideas from a text in a shortened version of an original text
The main purpose of such simplification is to understand the main points of the original text, film, or event, which are usually extensive, and thus to enable others to understand the essence of the source in a shorter period of time. Usually brings in the beginning the title, author name, type of text and its main idea. It has a clearly organized structure, of logical, chronological and determined construction. In contrast to a summary (in the strict sense) or a review, a summary contains no interpretation or opinion. Just the opinion of the original writer is reflected - paraphrased with new words without quotes from the original text.
