Well, popularity comes from being nasty (sometimes not all the time) and being the most 'known' in the school. I myself am not popular. Some troublesome students are spoken of and when rumors spread about them they become popular.
But popularity is not all about being nasty, some students become popular by being athletic, and being one of the rich kids in the school. This makes others follow you because of the benefits of being with you.
You may become popular by talking with other different students around your school, getting involved in important clubs, sports and trying you best to act the right way and being the talk of the school (in a positive way)
But remember, you don't need to be nasty and try to act like someone that you know you are not. The best thing is wait and be positive of being popular in a peaceful and positive way. Don't let other eat your brains with negativity.
Hope this helped!
