Olfactory bulb.
Olfactory mucosa also known as the olfactory epithelium has olfactory receptors that are responsible for scent transduction. The olfactory molecules reach olfactory receptors via passive pathway. Molecules will bind in the olfactory binding protein these transport it to the olfactory receptors. These will acitivate the sensory neurons and will transport the signal to the neurons in the olfactory bulb. Information will conducted by the olfactory bulb via lateral olfactory tract to the brain.
