Grass can grow up to 6 inches in a week depending on temperature, humidity, and time of year. At this rate, how tall will grass grow in 24 days?

6 inches = 7 days
x             = 24 days
cross multiply -> 6 x 24 divide by 7
7 days = 1 week/ 6 inches 21 days = 3 week ( 3 x 6 = 18 inches) + 3 days makes total of 24 days = 28 days make 4 weeks - 4 days short of 4 weeks. That means 21 inches in 24 days
