China is a communist state in East Asia. The power of the People’s republic of China is separated among certain entities:
- legislative branch which is composed of the National People's Congress.
-executive branch- which is composed of the State Council
- judicial branch, which is composed of the Supreme People's Procuratorate and Supreme People's Court
-military branch, which is composed of the People's Liberation Army
The nation’s power is held by the Paramount Leader who is presently Xi Jinping.
