Once you begin talking about something in a specific way, you can’t jusy suddenly shift to talking about it in an entirely different way.
For example:
I love cooking, to dance, and sing.
This sentence isn’t parallel. To make it balance, you should say:
I love cooking, dancing, and singing.
There should be uniformity among elements.
