The expression given to us is [tex] y=-5+7 [/tex]. This can be rewritten as [tex] y=2 [/tex].
This is in the form y=constant where the constant is 2.
Now, we know that whenever the straight line is of the form y=constant, then the straight line will be a horizontal line parallel to the x axis at a distance which is the value of the constant.
The y intercept of such a line is always the point (0, constant).
Thus, the y intercept of the expressions given to us will be (0,2) as shown in the graph of the file attached.
