Simplify the fractions if not in lowest terms. Multiply the numerators of the fractions to get the new numerator. Multiply the denominators of the fractions to get the new denominator.....hope this helps!

STEP 1: Line up the fractions so that the numerator "top number" and denominator "bottom number" line up with each other.
STEP 2: You want to multiply across so multiply the numerator and the numerator together and multiply the denominator and the denominator together.
STEP 3: Find the "Greatest Common Factor" if the fraction can be simplified. If not, you are all set.
