Visible light is all the colors, consisting of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Infrared light has longer wavelengths than visible light, making it invisible. Microwaves are used to transmit thermal energy. Radio waves have a wavelength lower than microwaves, and are used for sound and communication.
