Answer - Trade Unions
In the 1800s, the Trade Unions were known for their open opposed and protest against the hiring of unskilled factory workers. They did this mostly because the trade unions were made up of members who were skilled workers, and these people didn't want their jobs to be taken away and given to unskilled workers.
