Find the zeros:
p(x) = (x + 6)(x - 7)

The zeros are the x values where the function is equal to 0. The function p(x) is already factored, so now wee just set both factors equal to 0.
x + 6 = 0
x = -6
and
x - 7 = 0
x = 7
The zeros of p(x) are x = -6 and 7
