Rick's parents told him that for every 5 hours of reading he finishes, he can play 3 hours of video games. Rob's parents told him that he can play 15 minutes for every 30 minutes of reading time he finishes. If both boys spend the same amount of time reading this week, which boy gets more time playing video games and how do you know?

ok so let's say that rick does 5 hours of reading and then plays video games for 3 hours

howver for Rob, he gets half the time playing video games than the time he does reading so let's say he does 5 hours of reading, that means he will get 2 and 1/2 hours of playing video games

so therefore, Rick gets more time playing video games.
