when finding a function do you loko at x values or y values?

yes it is still a function it just wont be linear

So if we had x values of:

it is a function
but if we had

it is a non function because the 6 was repeated
❅☃ Yes, you have to look at the x values, if you do not look at the x values, then you cant determine the functions.
