Why is diction important? I. It develops precise images in the mind. II. It affects the narrator’s tone in a piece of writing. III. It determines the theme in a piece of literature.
I am not sure, but I would say the second option is the correct answer. Because, diction is your choice of words. And the more beautiful words you choose, the more will your tone of writing be affected.
