The french, american and british sector. Before the defeat of berlin, the allies and the russians agreed to split germany, with the borders being the line were the allies and russians met. The allies hoped they would get to berlin at the same time as the russians, so they would have a part of berlin too. This wasn't the case, but they still wanted a part of berlin. That's why they got half of the city, which gave them one litte spot of allied land in a east germany. Because they really only had half of the city and not even roads to it, they had to fly all their resources to it
