Respuesta :
Before the dna could be found was necessary the
microscope. This invention was
the starting point of a great variety of advances in the world of science,
which started from the world of Microscopy and also changed the way of seeing
the world, from the possibility of studying Bacteria and Microbes (what that
led to the Bacteriology) until the analysis of our own blood with the discovery
of the Red and White Globules, which supposed a strong advance in the world of
medicine.
Microscopy is a necessary instrument before the DNA could be found.
Further Explanation:
Microscopes are known to enlarge the apparent size of the image. Due to the magnified image, different points in an object can be seen distinctly. Thus, the resolution is increased. In order to perceive the resolution, the image is focused on the retina of the human eye. Photoreceptors (cone cells) on the retina along with neurons form a detection unit of resolution. The types of cells viewed under a microscope have different levels of an organization; therefore, it needs different microscopy to view the structural details of these cells.
For example, observation of nucleus and flagella requires stained specimens to be viewed under a light microscope.Phase-contrast microscopy is used for analyzing different structures of the specimen, with different refractive indexes. Scanning electron microscopy is appropriate for observing the external structures. Different microscopy, therefore, allows a wide range of analysis in the specimen.
